About Me

We just passsed our two year mark here in the Boston area. Since rent is so high and interest rates so low, we decided to buy a piece of real estate in Medford, MA. That's 'Mehfud' to the locals. It is a money pit delux and Larry is in his element, making it livable. We thought it would be fun to start a blog to share news and photos with you for your enjoyment and sympathy:). Larry is known for his construction/design skills, but, we all know that these types of projects invariably take longer and cost more than expected. We anticipate moving the end of September. We have defined what "move in ready" means. Keep checking back to see how the project is progressing.

Merry Christmas from the Boston Browns

It is a different sort of Christmas this year for the Boston Browns. We are enjoying a very quiet celebration with Luke who is visiting from New York. We celebrated with Heidi and Alex the evening before they left on a Hawaian vacation with the Shalek family.

We went to a wonderful Christmas Eve candlelight service at the Old South Church, built in the 1600's. Also, Larry, myself, and some friends were treated to the Boston Pops Holiday Concert this past week.

There is a bit of snow on the ground from an earlier storm with more predicted beginning tomorrow.
