About Me

We just passsed our two year mark here in the Boston area. Since rent is so high and interest rates so low, we decided to buy a piece of real estate in Medford, MA. That's 'Mehfud' to the locals. It is a money pit delux and Larry is in his element, making it livable. We thought it would be fun to start a blog to share news and photos with you for your enjoyment and sympathy:). Larry is known for his construction/design skills, but, we all know that these types of projects invariably take longer and cost more than expected. We anticipate moving the end of September. We have defined what "move in ready" means. Keep checking back to see how the project is progressing.

Kick *ss Cupcakes



One of the wonderful things about living here is the compact nature of the city. We live in a quiet little residential neighborhood, but we can walk to busy hubs of commerce in 10-15 minutes. On Saturday morning we walked to Davis Square and discovered this amazing little bakery along the way. The cupcakes were works of art...amazing to behold and even more amazing to ingest! We split a Chai cinnamon cupcake. As one friend commented...good thing you walk alot! We will be walking back here again soon:)
